Amazon Echo Spot

Spotify Free users can now use Alexa in the US, Australia and New Zealand. You need to have a Spotify Premium account to use Spotify with Alexa elsewhere in the world.
Link your Spotify account with Amazon Echo and use your voice to control your tunes. Or even ask for your favourite podcast (US users only).

Once you have linked your account, remember to make Spotify your default music service and then simply say "Alexa" and then, "Play Spotify", or "Resume Spotify" to get the music started. If you are using Alexa in the US you should also make Spotify your default podcast service to ask Alexa for your favourite podcasts on Spotify.

Or just say "Alexa", then...

  • “Play my Discover Weekly”.
  • “Turn up the volume”.
  • “Play some classical music”.
  • “What song is this?”.
  • "Play the podcast Mogul on Spotify" (US users only)

Other features of the Amazon Echo Spot include:

    • Echo Spot is designed to fit anywhere in your home.
    • Echo Spot connects to Alexa, a cloud-based voice service to play music, read the news, answer questions, set music alarms, control smart home, and more
    • Just ask to play a song, artist, genre or your favorite playlist on Spotify
    • With multi-room music, you can play music on your Echo devices in different rooms. Adjust the treble, mid, and bass levels with your voice.
